Robert Garcia is an iconic character from the Art of Fighting and The King of Fighters fighting game franchises, developed by SNK. Known as the "Mightiest Tiger," he is Ryo Sakazaki's best friend and eternal rival. Robert is the sole heir to a billionaire Italian foundation (Garcia Concern). Despite his privileged background, he sought in karate a way to forge his own identity outside the shadow of his father. He is a master of the Kyokugenryu Karate style, having trained under Takuma Sakazaki. Unlike Ryo, who is focused on brute strength, Robert is considered a technical and natural prodigy. Charismatic, elegant, and somewhat showy, Robert is known for his accent (often represented as a Kansai dialect in the Japanese dub) and his refined style. He harbors romantic feelings for Yuri Sakazaki, Ryo's sister, which creates a dynamic of "overprotectiveness" on the part of her brother and father.
